Mary Berg lives in the historical city of Anacortes located on Fidalgo Island which is joined to the mainland by a bridge and offers the tranquility of island living without the ferry commute. Mary and her husband, George, moved from Southern California to the Seattle area in 1978 to raise their family and in 2003, once their kids were grown and gone, made the decision to live in Anacortes where they could enjoy a slower pace of life and a more relaxed lifestyle.
